Panthers edge Marauders in high school hockey action

   
NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. — The Glace Bay Panthers opened its Cape Breton High School Hockey League regular season with a win on Thursday.
Austin Parsons goal at 16:03 of the third period proved to be the game-winner as the Panthers edged the Memorial Marauders 2-1 at the Emera Centre Northside on Thursday.
Matthew MacIntosh also found the back of the net for the Panthers. 
 
Brad MacLean had the lone goal for the Marauders. 
Coleton Boutilier picked up the win in goal. Spencer Shebib and Jonathan Dolomont shared time between the pipes for Memorial. Shebib was tagged with the loss.
